This project was a collaboration between Carnegie Mellon University and WMS Gaming Inc.

Our goal:
To create a communal bonus game on a multi-touch platform and have a side betting game as a part of it.

Communal Bonus Game with a new IP of "Continuous Bonus"
New IP for Base Reels Slot Game featuring Virtual Goods and Virtual Economy
New platform, The ffox table featuring a Multi-touch screen & 4 single touch-screens

As a part of my Art, Animation and Technology class taught by Prof. Jessica Hodgins and Prof. James Duesing, I made the character rig shown above. This was my first attempt at humanoid modeling and rigging. This piece was well received by the class and the rig was well appreciated.

Currently, I am working on a project that would be finally turned in as a 2min feature animation called as The Rock, Paper and Scissor. Here again I would be working on character rig and scene dynamics.

ATOMS Fraps Video Capture

"ATOMS" is a virtual arcade game experience developed for the Shadow PlayMotion Device.

Features:

Game Design combines the mechanic involved in games such as Brick Out or Arkanoid with basic principles of charges.
Guest uses his shadow to control the paddle necessary to deflect the ball.
Game incorporates real physics for deflection motion and wall bounce.
Game also incorporates a Nuclear Symbol timer keeping in sync with the game's design.
Guest has to neutralize all charges before time runs out.
Guest has 3 levels to complete this game.

24 hr Game Jam: SnaKing Adventures

SnaKing Adventures

"SnaKing Adventures" is a Casual Game designed and developed on the WildPockets Platform for the 24 hr GameJam held by SimOps Studio.

Design Documentation:

Game Title: SnaKing

Objective:
Collecting objects thus completing the inventory on each level and proceeding forward for the next level.

Game Mechanics:
1. Collecting objects to complete the inventory on each level.
2. Directing the snake with D-Boxx (directional box)
3. Right Click to change direction of th D-Boxx, subsequently, upon collision with the snake the former changes its direction.
4. Left Click to drop the D-Boxx.
5. D-Boxx adds length/weight to the snake.
6. Completing the inventory results in creation of a Bridge that takes u to the next level.
7. Bridge is a restriction by itself i.e. to cross any level the bridge has its own length/weight limit; this makes it a challenge for the player to restrict the number of D-Boxx's being used in each level. Thus, the user has to make sure that he uses the least number of D-Boxx's for collecting all objects on inventory.
8. A Time Keeper for creating anxiety.
9. If the snake happens to collide into the world boundary - drop the time at a faster rate and reverse the direction of snake i.e. head becomes tail and vice versa.

2. Snake body which is a replication of head minus fangs
3. D-Boxx, looks like a cube with an arrow pointing in one direction.
4. Bridge which is a simple plane.
5. A base which forms the level map.

3. Bridge activation music upon collecting all objects.
4. D-Boxx rotation music.
5. D-Boxx drop sound.
6. Snake Scraping box sound.
7. Level 1,2 and 3 sounds based on interest curve

Story:

The snake character is our Prince Snake Charming who has to rescue his Princess Snake locked in a dungeon. He begins at the entrance of a castle which is a garden setup. The bridge is the entrance to castle. Castle is the 2nd level with moderate difficulty. Dungeon is the last level with utmost difficulty.

Additional Requirement if time permits is to add speed to the snake's movement - Discarded

Based on good and bad dance moves, programmed, the guest can win or lose this game.

"Smurf Village", the virtual freedom and indirect control game experience for a Head Mounted Display.

Features:

The guest user has a first person perspective display on his Head Mount.
The guest user has two controllers which are used to make the character move about in the world.
The guest user has a controller on his Head Mount which tracks his head movements.
The guest user has a fourth controller attached to his chest which tracks his jump movements.
The game has various tasks to complete such as, collecting items at the village, then cross the river by jumping on lily pads and finally save the smurfette.
The background score changes in accordance with the levels.
A timer is also included to increase the pace of gameplay.
